FUNCTION
The HR Officer will be part of the HR & Finance Department.
The HR Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the payroll, for efficiently processing employee data, keeping company policies up-to-date, and assisting in the hiring process. With exceptional organizational skills and familiarity with HR topics will contribute to the smooth running of all HR operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organization. We are looking for someone who enjoys precision, payroll, personnel administration, extra-legal benefits, social compliance and the continuous improvement of HR processes within a growing PME environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration:
o Ensuring the day-to-day management of all the administrative operations ( management and follow-up of the HR mailbox, answer to all the questions, topics, issues related to the employee and follow-up,…)
o ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format
• Payroll: conducting the monthly payroll, maintaining employee database & prepare reports
• Legal: assist HR Manager in ensuring legal compliance of company rules & policies as well as creating and distributing guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
• Compensation & Benefits: operational management, follow up and administration of the car fleet, insurances, pension plans, flex income plan, and all the extra-legal advantages (smart phone, laptop, headset, …)
•Recruitment:
assist and support the HR Manager as well as coordinate & follow-up recruitment process
•Onboarding:/Offboarding Responsible for successful on boarding and off boarding of employees, new hire training organization, …
•Support: provide information and support to the managers on HR topics (policies and procedure)
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
The adecuado candidate has the following profile:
•At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Hard HR (payroll, compensation & benefits, Legal) as well as in Soft HR and/or in a similar position
•Significant experience within a social secretariat environment, ideally with SD Worx
•Master the full scope of Payroll Management
•Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite, with a very strong command of Excel, including pivot tables and HR data analysis
•Aptitude in overseeing employee benefits
•Good knowledge about Labor law & Social Law
•Fluent in Dutch and French
•Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
•Detail-oriented personality with a strong sense of accuracy, precision and follow-through
•Ability to build team morale and promote company culture
•Hands-on, energetic, goal-oriented, pro-active with determination and perseverance
•Natural interpersonal and communication skills
•Dynamic, driven and energetic team player thriving and problem solving
•First experience in recruitment is an asset
