We’re Hiring – Data Analyst / Semantic Data Specialist

Location: Brussels Area – Hybrid

Seniority: Senior – 5+ years of relevant experience

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Semantic Data Specialist to work at the intersection of data analysis, semantic modelling, data pipelines and data project coordination.

Your Responsibilities

- Coordinate small to medium-sized data projects, defining scope, objectives, deliverables and planning
- Gather and translate business requirements into concrete data solutions
- Analyse data sources, data flows, transformations and data models
- Design and evolve semantic data models using Linked Data technologies (RDF & OWL)
- Contribute to the definition and optimisation of data pipelines
- Perform data analysis and translate results into actionable business insights
- Develop reports, KPIs and dashboards for operational users
- Use SQL to extract, transform and analyse data from multiple systems




- Act as the bridge between Business, Data and ICT teams
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Document data structures, data flows and architecture using SPARX Enterprise Architect
- Support knowledge transfer and promote data modelling best practices

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with:

- Data analysis
- Data project coordination
- Data pipelines and data flows
- Linked Data / Semantic Data Modelling
- RDF & OWL
- SQL
- Reporting, KPIs and dashboards
- SPARX Enterprise Architect

Languages

- English: C1
- French or Dutch: C1
- Passive understanding of the other national language

Strong hands-on experience with RDF, OWL, Linked Data and SPARX Enterprise Architect is essential for this position.
