Lutine Bell are currently partnering with a general Insurance organisation who are seeking an experienced legal professional to join as a Head of Legal Iberia on a fixed-term basis.This is a unique opportunity to lead all legal and data protection matters across Spain and Portugal, partnering closely with senior business leaders and regulators while overseeing a small legal team.Contract: Approximately 6 monthsLocation: Madrid (hybrid working)Salary: Up to €83,500Key Responsibilities:- Lead the legal function across Spain and Portugal.- Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders.- Draft,



negotiate and advise on complex commercial agreements.- Manage relationships with regulators across Iberia.- Oversee data protection and corporate governance matters.- Support the business in identifying opportunities while managing legal and regulatory risk.- Lead and develop a small legal team.About You:- Qualified lawyer with strong commercial legal experience.- Proven ability to operate autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.- Strong contract negotiation and risk management expertise.- Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
