Senior Cyber Security Specialist (Privileged Access Management)

Join a leading international organization as a Senior Cyber Security Specialist focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM). This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical security platforms, contribute to Zero Trust and Cloud Security initiatives, and play a key role in strengthening enterprise-wide cybersecurity across complex Windows, Linux, and Azure environments.

Working closely with Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, and business stakeholders, you will help design, implement, and continuously improve privileged access controls that protect critical systems and sensitive data.

Hybrid role based in Madrid

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior PAM Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and continuous evolution of key Privileged Access Management platforms and security services.

Key Duties

- Design, implement, administer, and enhance PAM solutions across the organization
- Take ownership of critical security platforms, including:
- CyberArk Privileged Account Security (PASS)
- CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM)
- RSA SecurID / MFA
- SSH Jump Servers
- Manage the complete platform lifecycle:
- Maintenance
- Patching
- Upgrades
- Vulnerability remediation
- Performance optimization
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support in Windows and Linux environments
- Support Zero Trust and Cloud Transformation initiatives, including Azure-based security projects
- Work with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify risks, and improve security processes




- Analyze existing security controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen privileged access governance
- Develop documentation, testing procedures, and knowledge-sharing practices
- Automate operational processes and improve platform efficiency through scripting and modern tooling
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security Operations, Engineering teams, vendors, and external partners
- Support the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-powered cybersecurity tools such as Microsoft Copilot

Required Experience

- 5+ years of experience within Cybersecurity, IAM, PAM, or Security Engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of Privileged Access Management concepts, privileged accounts, access governance, and identity security
- Hands-on technical background with experience supporting enterprise-scale security platforms
- Excellent understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft environments
- Strong Windows Server administration experience
- Working knowledge of Linux systems administration
- Experience performing advanced troubleshooting and platform support
- Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and security best practices




- Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into security solutions
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong security mindset with a proactive, continuous-improvement approach

- CyberArk administration or engineering experience
- BeyondTrust or similar PAM solutions
- ServiceNow
- Azure DevOps
- Python, PowerShell, scripting, or automation experience
- Agile ways of working
- AI and Copilot tools experience
- Project Management or delivery experience
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and governance practices
