For a customer in Limburg, we are searching for a Building & Utilities Lead is responsible for the tactical and operational organization and maintenance of all building, utilities and facility activities at the site, with the objective of ensuring a safe, compliant, reliable and future-proof infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop the Building & Utilities and Facility team.
- Take responsibility for buildings, utilities, air handling systems, building security, alarm systems and building management systems.
- Ensure clear allocation of tasks, prioritization and resource planning.
- Safeguard the continuity, reliability and compliance of installations.
- Manage Building & Utilities projects, including scope, timelines, quality and budget.
- Actively contribute to investment requests.
- Select, manage and evaluate suppliers and contractors.
- Provide technical input for new installations and process changes.
- Approve and follow up maintenance, certification and inspection plans.
- Follow up on breakdowns, defect management and corrective actions.
- Oversee and coordinate facility activities such as cleaning, pest control, workwear and site maintenance.
- Monitor housekeeping,



cleanliness and the overall condition of the site.
- Support change controls, CAPAs and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow up contracts, quotations and invoicing in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Promote collaboration between Building & Utilities, Facility, Project and Operations departments.

Profile

- Extensive experience in Building & Utilities, Facility Management or a technical environment, preferably within a manufacturing/GMP environment.
- Project management experience is required.
- Leadership/people management experience is required.
- Knowledge of change control, CAPAs and technical compliance is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong people-management skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Quality-focused.
- Safety-conscious.
