Who you are

- Background: Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or equivalent)

- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on data science experience solving real-world business challenges

- Engineering Rigor: Expert Python skills (writing production-level code);

experience with live production ML systems is a major plus

- Data Tech Stack: Strong SQL proficiency (Databricks or equivalent) and experience with BI tools (Tableau or equivalent)

- Analytical Balance: A passion for statistics, effortlessly toggling between quick back-of-the-envelope estimates and deep analytical deep-dives

- Communication: Fluency in English with a proven talent for explaining complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

- We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Marketplace team and optimize the dynamic balance between supply and demand, ensuring our cars are perfectly positioned and priced for every journey

- High Impact: Work at the center of product strategy, influencing critical business decisions

- Real-World Deployment: Put algorithms into production that directly govern fleet operations





- Core Optimization: Solve complex marketplace dynamics across diverse international markets

- Dynamic Pricing: Enrich machine learning models to dynamically adjust rates across all markets

- Fleet Optimization: Improve fleet repositioning algorithms to maximize overall rental volume

- End-to-End MLOps: Industrialize ML models from initial R&D; through to production monitoring

- Experimentation Infrastructure: Design scalable data pipelines to power A/B testing and measure algorithm impact

- Marketplace Monitoring: Define precise KPIs and build reliable dashboards for real-time visibility
