This internship offers hands-on experience in the book production process, from manuscript receipt to publication.

1. Proofreading and Editing

- Thorough proofreading of manuscripts (spelling, grammar, syntax, typography)
- Verification of the text’s overall consistency (style, tone, structure)
- Harmonization of content according to the editorial guidelines
- Identification of any inconsistencies or substantive errors
- Participation in the preparation of proofs (BAT, corrected proofs)

2. Editorial Monitoring





- Editorial monitoring with a particular focus on content creators and new forms of expression emerging from social media
- Tracking literary news (new releases, trends, emerging authors)

- Analysis of competitors’ catalogs
- Drafting of reading notes and summaries
- Identification of new themes or editorial opportunities
- Degree in literature or book publishing
- Excellent command of the English and Italian language (impeccable spelling and grammar)
- Attention to detail, a meticulous approach, and a critical mindset
- A strong passion for reading and literature
