About the role The Head of Risk & Compliance is responsible for leading Infront's Group Risk & Compliance function and ensuring effective enterprise risk management, compliance and governance arrangements are embedded across the organisation. The role provides independent oversight and constructive challenge through a federated model, in which business and technology functions remain accountable for identifying, assessing and managing their risks and complying with applicable requirements.
Owning the Group Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance frameworks, the role provides Executive Management and the Board with a clear, evidence-based view of Infront's risk and compliance position. It leads a small, hands-on Risk & Compliance team and works closely with the Head of Information Security and leaders across Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, Legal and Commercial functions.

Your responsibilities
- Own, maintain and continuously improve the Group Enterprise Risk Management framework, methodology, governance and reporting
- Maintain the enterprise risk taxonomy,
consolidated enterprise risk profile and Group risk appetite framework
- Ensure significant risk exposures are identified, assessed, mapped to enterprise risks and supported by appropriate management responses and actions
- Provide independent challenge to Executive Sponsors and risk owners regarding risk assessments, mitigation plans, acceptance decisions and residual risk
- Provide consolidated risk reporting to the Risk & Compliance Committee, Executive Management and Board
- Own and govern the Group Compliance framework, including compliance strategy, governance, monitoring and reporting
- Ensure applicable regulatory, legal and material contractual obligations are identified, assessed and translated into appropriate policies, standards, controls and business requirements
- Oversee regulatory change, data protection coordination and compliance assessments across relevant jurisdictions
- Own the governance framework for customer due diligence and third-party risk assessments, including escalation and oversight of higher-risk cases
- Oversee Group policy and standards governance and maintain an integrated approach between obligations, policies, standards, controls, assurance findings and enterprise risk
- Oversee compliance monitoring and assurance activities and ensure material findings are tracked through to resolution
- Represent Risk & Compliance with auditors, customers, regulators and external advisors where required
- Lead and develop the Risk & Compliance team and promote clear ownership of risks, controls and compliance obligations across the organisation
What you bring
- 8-12+ years of relevant experience in enterprise risk, compliance, governance or related second-line functions, ideally within financial services, FinTech, technology, software or ICT environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management and practical experience operating risk governance frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of relevant European regulatory and compliance requirements affecting financial services and ICT providers
- Some experience providing independent challenge and presenting risk or compliance matters to senior executives and Board-level governance bodies
- Experience leading a Risk, Compliance, Governance or related second-line team or function
- Knowledge of operational resilience, ICT risk, DORA, data protection, third-party risk and information security governance is highly desirable
- University degree or equivalent professional experience
- Languages: English (fluent / business fluent required); Spanish and other European languages an advantage.
