Role Description The Pharmacovigilance Signal Detection Lead will oversee end-to-end signal detection activities for assigned products, ensuring the timely identification, validation, and assessment of potential safety signals using quantitative and qualitative methods. This full-time, on-site role based in Marbella involves leading signal review meetings, preparing signal detection reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as safety physicians, epidemiologists, regulatory colleagues, and medical affairs staff. The role includes maintaining and optimizing signal detection methodologies and tools, ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations,



and supporting risk management and risk minimization activities.

The individual will contribute to the development of safety surveillance strategies, support audits and inspections, and assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of pharmacovigilance operations.

Qualifications

- Strong pharmacovigilance, drug safety, and signal detection skills, including experience with quantitative and qualitative safety data analysis.
- Expertise in medical and scientific evaluation of safety data, including interpretation of clinical trial results, post-marketing data, and literature.
- Proficiency with safety databases, analytical tools, and relevant software used for pharmacovigilance and signal management.
- Knowledge of integral regulatory requirements and guidelines (e.g., EMA, FDA, ICH) related to drug safety, signal detection, and risk management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear safety summaries, signal reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work on site in Marbella, organize workload effectively, and handle multiple concurrent safety projects with attention to detail.
- Advanced degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, or a related field; prior experience in a pharmacovigilance or drug safety lead role is highly beneficial.
