PhD Opportunity (FPU Fellowship Call 2026) – Epigenetics & Aging
Are you interested in understanding why we age and get sick? Can we reverse aging through epigenetic modulation?
The “Epigenetic Memory in Disease” Lab is seeking an outstanding candidate to apply for a predoctoral FPU fellowship to carry out a PhD at the Centre for Genomics and Oncological Research (GENYO) in Granada, Spain.
About us
· We combine molecular and cellular biology, epigenomics, and bioinformatics to study how epigenetic processes regulate development and age-associated diseases in mice and humans.
What we are looking for
· Highly motivated candidates with a degree in Biomedical Sciences (or related fields) who want to obtain a PhD.
· Academic record above 8.5/10 (key requirement for FPU competitive scoring).
· Strong enthusiasm for epigenomics and disease mechanisms.
