As a CO+I CE Field Service Engineer, you help deliver reliable core infrastructure powering Microsoft’s online services. You work across data centers, collaborating with engineering and landlord partners to optimize availability, safety, and efficiency. You’ll tackle challenges in critical environments, driving cost-conscious operations and proactive risk management. This role offers growth through cross-functional exposure and hands-on influence on large-scale data center performance.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Ensure compliance with data center policies and budgets while managing area programs
• Oversee day-to-day mechanical/electrical equipment operations in leased data centers and review MOP/SOP/EOP, RCAs, and risk mitigations
• Coordinate CE audits and compliance verifications; assist with RCA processes as appropriate
• Drive CE availability and operational efficiency with landlord partners; monitor power, temperature, humidity, and SLA metrics
• Support emergency preparedness and serve as escalation point for facilities-related issues
• Foster relationships with Engineering Groups and landlords; participate in leadership reviews (MBRs, QBRs)

• Mentor others across data centers; promote training opportunities and continuous improvement
• Contribute to a safe, collaborative team environment, identifying risk and process improvements
• Own end-to-end service quality and customer experience, escalating issues when needed
• Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to implement cost/energy efficiency initiatives and reporting

Responsabilidades
• High School Diploma or equivalent OR relevant college coursework
• Valid driving license for travel to worksite as required
• Ability to meet Microsoft cloud background check and security screenings
• Experience in a data center or critical environment facility
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical contexts
• Experience with IT infrastructure operations is a plus (servers, storage, networking)
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or technical certification in mechanical/electrical engineering or related fields
