Project Director | Data Center Project | Barcelona | Freelance We are looking to engage a well established and experienced Freelance Project Director to join a new large-scale data center project in Barcelona. Location: Barcelona (4 days per week onsite) Start: November / December Contract: 2.5 Year Freelance Contract Project: Data Center Role Overview This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for managing the project from A-Z, working closely with the General Contractor, consultants and internal stakeholders. The position is challenging and fast-paced, requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to drive programme delivery. Key Responsibilities Overall project leadership from design through construction, commissioning and handover Full responsibility for programme understanding, control and challenge Day-to-day management and coordination of the General Contractor Supporting and challenging the GC to ensure schedule,



quality and cost targets are met Cost awareness and support, including reporting and change management Regular reporting to senior stakeholders and executive management Essential Skills Proven experience as a Project Manager / Director function on data center projects Previous data center project experience in Spain is required Demonstrated track record managing full lifecycle projects Strong understanding of large-scale construction programmes and GC management Fluent English, with Spanish language skills highly desirable Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, senior stakeholder environment Strong knowledge of the Spanish construction and data center market If this opportunity is of interest and you would like to discuss further details, please apply or send your CV to [email protected]
