Lutine Bell are currently partnering with a integral Insurance organisation who are seeking an experienced legal professional to join as a Head of Legal Iberia on a fixed-term basis.

This is a unique opportunity to lead all legal and data protection matters across Spain and Portugal, partnering closely with senior business leaders and regulators while overseeing a small legal team.

Contract: Approximately 6 months

Location: Madrid (hybrid working)

Salary: Up to €83,500

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the legal function across Spain and Portugal.
- Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders.
- Draft, negotiate and advise on complex commercial agreements.
- Manage relationships with regulators across Iberia.




- Oversee data protection and corporate governance matters.
- Support the business in identifying opportunities while managing legal and regulatory risk.
- Lead and develop a small legal team.

About You:

- Qualified lawyer with strong commercial legal experience.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong contract negotiation and risk management expertise.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
