Experteer Overview
In this role you lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable software platforms for Transmission u0026amp; Distribution configuration and grid automation. You will partner with embedded, power systems, and UI/UX teams and engage with customers to deliver secure, cloud-ready solutions that enable next-generation substation workflows. You shape technical direction, drive cross-domain integration, and advance AI-assisted engineering and multi-vendor interoperability in a strategic, innovation-driven environment. This role offers impact across grid protection, configuration tooling, and digital substation initiatives.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define architecture and evolution of scalable, modular software platforms for Tu0026D configuration systems
• Oversee cloud-native platform design using .NET, Java, Python, TypeScript for desktop, edge, and cloud deployments
• Integrate IEC 61850 engineering workflows into automated tooling
• Coordinate between firmware, UI/UX, and power systems teams for coherent system design
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, and hardware architects to deliver secure, compliant solutions
• Promote reuse of software components to ensure platform consistency
• Oversee lifecycle of configuration and commissioning tools for protection and control devices




• Ensure compliance with IEC 61850/61968/70/CIM/IEC 62351 and end-to-end SDLC/DevSecOps
• Engage with architects, systems engineers, and customers to deliver robust, reliable grid solutions
• Monitor emerging technologies (cloud-native, model-driven engineering, AI/ML) and contribute to roadmaps and IP
• Mentor software engineers and represent the organization in customer engagements and industry events

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in software-related field
• Extensive software engineering experience with technical leadership or architecture roles
• Proven track record in Tu0026D, energy automation, or industrial control domains
• Expertise in IEC 61850, CIM, IEC 61968/70, IEC 62351
• Strong skills in .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, UI frameworks, and cloud/container deployments
• Knowledge of data modeling, API integration, and cybersecurity practices
• Familiarity with SCADA/DMS/EMS integration and substation design tools
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Experience working in a matrixed, global organization with distributed teams
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events
