Universal Cabinets & Designs is currently looking for a keen & experienced Wood Machinists to run the machines in a cabinet making business in the Malaga area. E.g. Morbidelli, CNC & beamsaw and Biesse winstore. We manufacture all types of cabinet works in a large factory and specialise with custom cabinetry and commercial outfits.

Duties include:

- Operates variety of woodworking machines such as Biesse CNC, edgebander, beamsaw and uses various handtools
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
- Perform regular checks to ensure machines are in good working order and address any issues.
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
- Monitor stock levels associated the machines
- Assist to organise warehouse stock and operation of forklift

Applicant requirements:

- Hold a Certificate III in Wood machining plus at least 1 year of employment experience,



or 3 years of employment experience in lieu of any formal qualifications in the industry of cabinet making.
- CNC or machining experience
- Must be able to step up to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable with working hours at short notice
- Must take pride in their workmanship and quality
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, be keen, self motivated and driven
- Be able to communicate well
- Forklift ticket is advantageous but not necessary
