Offer Description

We are looking for a PhD candidate to carry out the following functions:

- Growth and static characterization of novel nanomaterials
- Characterization of dynamical processes and control with optical methods
- Develop experimental laser setups
- Assist in the preparation of reports and protocols
- Apply for fellowships and grants
- Support experiments at large scale facilities such as synchrotrons and Free Electron Lasers - FELs

Requirements :

- Qualifications: MS in condensed matter physics
- Communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility,



and adaptability to handle multiple tasks
- Experience in sample growing and characterization of materials' magnetic, electronic and structural properties. Experience in spectroscopy and microscopy is valuable
- Knowledge in programming (Python) and 3D modelling will be valuable
- Availability to travel

Working conditions:

- Contract duration: 4 years (starting from Oct 2026)
