This immersive summer program is designed for students who will enter their final year of university after the internship. It offers hands-on professional experience, exposure to global teams and the opportunity to develop the analytical, commercial and interpersonal skills needed to begin a career in finance.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

As part of the Santander SCIB Summer Program Europe – Client Coverage, you will support teams focused on building deep, long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with Large Corporates, Multinational Corporations, Financial Institutions and Financial Sponsors. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the preparation of client presentations, briefing materials, market updates and internal analyses.
- Helping teams understand clients’ strategic priorities, financial needs and sector dynamics.
- Contributing to the coordination of products and solutions across Transaction Banking,



Investment Banking and Markets.
- Collaborating with bankers and product specialists on client opportunities and ongoing relationship-management activities.
- Gaining exposure to client meetings, transaction processes and the day-to-day work of a integral coverage team.

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

- University degree: Students expected to complete their studies in summer 2028 and enter their final year of university after the internship; degrees in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields are welcomed.
- English level: High proficiency in English; any additional language is a plus.
- Skills: Open and collaborative approach in a multicultural environment, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and exposure to financial modelling.
- Interest: Strong interest in corporate and investment banking, client coverage and global financial markets.
- Availability:



Available for a full-time summer internship from June/July to August/September 2027, depending on the country.
- Location: Based in Europe (Madrid, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam or Milan).
