Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

to support

Supplier Quality Management activities within an automotive project, providing both on-site and remote support to an international team.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop suppliers, monitoring their performance and improvement plans.

Coordinate

APQP projects and

PPAP validation processes, particularly during industrialization and launch phases.

Conduct process and system audits at suppliers, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities.

Manage quality issues, following up on

8D corrective actions and escalations for critical suppliers.

Coordinate quality activities with

Procurement, Engineering, Production and suppliers , both nationally and internationally.

Requirements

Proven experience as a





Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

within the automotive industry.

Strong knowledge of

APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and IATF 16949 .

Experience in supplier audits and industrialization and project launch processes.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple suppliers and follow up on action plans.

High level of and Spanish and

English and willingness to travel and visit suppliers when required.
