We are looking for an

AI Tech Lead to join a strategic AI program within a large international environment.

In this role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership

, leading a cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers and helping shape the architecture, engineering standards, and delivery of production-ready AI solutions.

The main focus will be on

Generative AI, RAG, LLM-powered applications, scalable backend systems, and cloud-native AI solutions on Microsoft Azure

.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers, business teams, and other technical stakeholders to turn business needs into robust, scalable, and reliable AI products.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the technology while also acting as a technical reference point for the team

, driving engineering quality, mentoring others, and taking ownership of architectural decisions.

Design and oversee the development of scalable backend systems and APIs supporting AI-powered applications

Architect and validate cloud-based AI solutions using

Microsoft Azure

Work with Azure services such as

Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and Azure Key Vault

Conduct code reviews

, provide technical mentoring, and support the upskilling of squad members

Act as the technical interface between the engineering squad and stakeholders including

Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers, and business teams





Define standards around performance, reliability, observability, monitoring, and high availability

Evaluate new approaches, frameworks, and technologies within the

Generative AI and LLM ecosystem

Strong experience in

Software Engineering / AI Engineering

, ideally in senior or technical leadership roles

Previous experience acting as a

Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or technical reference point within an engineering team

Experience leading, mentoring, or technically coordinating software or AI engineers

Hands-on experience designing and delivering end-to-end AI solutions in cloud environments

Experience designing backend systems and scalable APIs

Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices

Experience working with

Microsoft Azure

Familiarity with services such as

Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and/or Azure Key Vault

Experience with production-grade engineering concepts such as observability, monitoring, reliability, performance, and high availability

High level of

English

Hybrid model – 2 days onsite per week
