POSITION TITLE: UPM Intern

LOCATION: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)

This position reports to our general HQ in Cambridge, MA and is hybrid with 2-3 days onsite.

Who We Are Looking For:

The role of the UPM Intern is to support the Informatics team's development of new terminology mapping approaches — leveraging AI techniques — required to harmonize Real World Data (RWD) from Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) into the TriNetX network. The intern works within the Madrid/UPM team, part of the Data Management and Informatics department, and contributes to the mapping and data quality processes that make TriNetX's real-world data ready for research.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Development of automatic tools for RWD terminology mappings
- Analysis of data quality in HCO RWD
- Implementation of data models for storing clinical metadata




- Mapping of worldwide HCO data catalogues to TriNetX standard terminologies

What You Bring to TriNetX:

- Excellent academic record
- Knowledge of programming and databases
- Proficient English

Preferred:
- Experience in the clinical domain
