Accountabilities

The Software Engineer (Backend)



will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems while contributing to product decisions and improving the overall engineering experience.
- Develop reliable, scalable backend services that support a compensation platform used by businesses and employees.
- Design and implement APIs, database solutions, and architectural improvements that enhance performance and maintainability.
- Build production-ready systems with strong testing practices, monitoring, observability, and resilience.
- Own features end-to-end, from technical discovery and design through implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify the right solutions for customer needs.
