to provide structured leadership, governance, and operational oversight to an already high-performing DevOps team.
The existing DevOps team delivers proficiently and autonomously across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, container platforms, and observability. However, the organization requires a senior layer responsible for:
Strategic DevOps roadmap evolution
While strong technical expertise is required for credibility and decision-making, this is not a hands-on coding position.
DevOps Governance & Strategy (Primary Focus ~65%)
Define and enforce DevOps governance frameworks, standards, and operating models
Establish and track DevOps KPIs (deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR,



change failure rate, platform reliability, etc.)
Create executive-level reporting dashboards and performance summaries
Ensure security, compliance, and quality controls are embedded in pipelines
Manage risk, capacity planning, and budget alignment
Coordinate DevOps activities across engineering, architecture, security, and operations
Act as the escalation and decision authority for DevOps-related governance matters
