The Advanced Biofabrication for Tissue Engineering research group, led by Daniel Nieto at the University of A Coruña, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with proven experience in strategic management, fundraising, and scaling of technology and biomedical startups to work within the framework of the ORALREGENERIX project.
Previous experience in deeptech, biotech, medtech, or technology spin?Responsibilities Development and execution of the business plan.
Securing public and private funding (venture capital, business angels, grants, EIC, CDTI, etc.).




Developing strategic alliances and commercial agreements.
Coordinating regulatory activities and market access strategy.
Experience in business development and corporate strategy.
Knowledge of the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and technology transfer.
Experience in regulated environments (medical devices, biotech, digital health, or similar).
Knowledge of regulations and quality standards applicable to medical devices will be considered an asset.
Experience implementing quality systems (ISO * or others).
Established network of contacts with investors and strategic partners.
Academic Background University degree in fields related to business management, law, technology, or health sciences: up to 15 points (proportional to the score).
Additional formation in general management, MBA, finance, entrepreneurship, or innovation: up to 10 points.
