is responsible of coordinating the training and education activities, conduct educational research and develop opportunities for collaboration with other leading High Performance Computing (HPC) and Supercomputing centers as well as world class universities in the areas of education, training and mobility. The unit contributes to regional projects national awards (Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence), and European projects (EUMaster4HPC, EuroCC2, CASTIEL2, EVITA).The main responsibility of the position will be to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the education and training events, and provide administrative support for various international programs and projects in which the department is involved.Key DutiesCollaborate in a dynamic team towards achieving the High Performance Computing education and training goals of multiple local, national and international projectsPrepare and support courses, meetings, training events for different audiences and other activities of Education & Training unitContribute constructively with your feedback to streamline, optimise and improve E&T; unit policies, procedures and documentationManage documents, phone calls and correspondence (reports, e-mail, letters, packages etc.) with students, participants, lecturers and administrationManage in-house training facilitiesMarket available training opportunities (web and others), including design improvements to training materials such as flyers, certificates, merchandise and moreProvide administrative support in the preparation of international project proposals related to Education & Training of High Performance Computing knowledge, skills and competencesProvide on-site support for training events, seminars, and activities by coordinating WFH days with the team to ensure full coverage of the department's availabilityRequirementsEducationBachelor or Certificate of Higher Education (CFGS)



within the field of Business Administration or related fieldEssential Knowledge and Professional Experience2 -3 years of experience in administration rolesExcellent skills in Microsoft office (Advanced level in Word and Excel)Survey administration and reporting skillsAdditional Knowledge and Professional ExperienceHigh level of Spanish and English, oral and written.Public System knowledge or previous experience in research centers will be a plus.CompetencesDriven to achieve goals of the project/team to a high standard of qualityAbility to to complete tasks on scheduleAbility to work independently, in a team and in a multicultural environmentAn organized, methodical person with an interest in administrative and support tasks is required for this position.Planning and organizing (Structured mindset)ConditionsThe position will be located at BSC within the Directors DepartmentWe offer a full-time contract (35h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, versátil working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation proceduresHolidays: 22 days of holidays + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreementSalary: we offer a competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate and according to the cost of living in BarcelonaStarting date: asapDeadlineThe vacancy will remain open until a suitable candidate has been hired.
