Lead Systems Engineer (Satellite Platform)

We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to take ownership of the technical definition and execution of an advanced satellite platform program in Spain.
This is a highly technical, hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives close to the hardware, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and can drive technical coherence across multidisciplinary teams from concept through launch and operations.
You will lead system architecture, requirements, interfaces, verification strategy and integration activities, working alongside subsystem experts across avionics, ADCS, thermal, propulsion, software and operations.
Key responsibilities
Leading satellite platform system architecture and technical trade‑offs
Managing requirements, interfaces, budgets and traceability




Supporting subsystem design reviews and technical decision‑making
Driving integration, verification and AIT campaigns
Managing technical risks, anomalies and verification closure
Acting as the technical focal point across internal and external stakeholders
We are particularly interested in
7+ years in space systems engineering
Flight project experience
Strong AIT and verification background
Hands‑on systems integration experience
Knowledge of ECSS or equivalent standards
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
Nice to have
MBSE / SysML experience
Environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, EMC/EMI)
Avionics, C&DH; or onboard software verification exposure
Configuration management and technical documentation expertise
