We are looking for a Test Engineer (5 years of experience) for a three-month factoring reporting project in Turnhout, Belgium. You will validate complex internal and financial reports within a proprietary factoring IT ecosystem. The position follows a hybrid model with 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

- Independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios for factoring reports.
- Perform functional and data-driven testing of factoring transactions, client data, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Create structured test plans and document execution steps and pass/fail results.
- Formally validate reports before implementation.
- Identify discrepancies between expected and vigente report outputs.
- Provide clear feedback to IT and development teams.




- Assimilate complex business logic and evolving IT system architectures to maintain robust test coverage.

Must-Have Requirements

- Strong knowledge of IT testing in complex IT environments.
- Experience with database-driven reporting systems.
- Experience with requirements management.
- Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods.
- Good knowledge of workflow processes.
- Deep knowledge of factoring processes and products, including recourse and non-recourse factoring, assignment of receivables, and credit limits.
- English proficiency.
