What You'll Do

- Develop, maintain and optimise automated test scripts using OpenText UFT
- Maintain and improve existing UFT object repositories and automation assets
- Work with VBScript and data-/keyword-driven or hybrid automation frameworks
- Plan and execute test cycles and test suites using OpenText ALM / HP ALM
- Analyse test results, identify defects and distinguish application defects from automation/script issues
- Log, track and follow up defects through to resolution
- Keep test scripts and related test assets reliable, reusable and up to date
- Collaborate with testers, IT teams, business stakeholders and management on testing activities
- Contribute to improving testing processes, governance and overall test efficiency
- Support reporting and data-related activities, including basic Power BI usage

What you bring

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText UFT or equivalent UFT experience




- Practical experience with HP ALM / OpenText ALM, including test suites, cycles and test execution planning
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Good working knowledge of VBScript
- Experience with data-driven, keyword-driven or hybrid test automation frameworks
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and defect management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accurate, proactive and structured working style
- Clear professional communication and a strong team-oriented mindset
- ISTQB Foundation certification is a strong advantage
