We're Camping, a small-but-mighty B2B video agency in Barcelona helping tech companies move from boring to heartfelt - and the only role on this brief is humour.
We're looking for a Copywriter who can make B2B SaaS audiences laugh, think, and click - in that order. You'll lead audiovisual content from creative development to final delivery, writing video scripts, ad copy, headlines, landing pages, social, plus the occasional absurd concept that somehow survives the client review.
The single most important thing you'll bring is a distinctive voice: a very dry, slightly British sense of humour - you understand absurdism, deadpan, restraint, and the difference between funny and trying-to-be-funny. This is the #1 filter for us.
You'll work closely with our Head of Creative (Emily) and Head of Strategy (Alexandra), partner with editors and designers, and push back on briefs when the joke isn't landing or the strategy is off.
What we're looking for:
- A very dry, slightly British sense of humour and absurdist thinking
- Native or near-native English with a strong feel for word play and cross-cultural nuance
- A portfolio that proves the above, not just describes it
- Ability to make complex or technical topics simple, sharp, and entertaining
- Strong creative collaboration skills, comfort with multiple projects and tight delivery windows
Nice to have: experience writing for B2B SaaS or technical brands, comedy or scriptwriting background, some Spanish.
Role can be full-time staff (Barcelona-based) or freelance/contractor with regular Barcelona presence.
