As a Senior Cloud Engineer in Bunge’s Global Data Platform, you will design and implement scalable cloud solutions that power data products and analytics. You’ll collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to automate deployments, ensure security, and maintain platform reliability. You’ll lead infrastructure design and IaC work, shaping a data-focused platform used across a integral organization. This role offers a chance to impact core business decisions through robust cloud-native data platforms and observability.

• Consult with the Data Platform team to enable data platform foundations and new capabilities
• Collaborate with Cloud CoE, DevOps CoE, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to build well-architected automated solutions (CI/CD, data pipelines, observability) on Google Cloud
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates with Terraform to provision resources and ensure consistent cloud use cases
• Architect and maintain Cloud Platform configurations (ingestion pipelines, lake-house, observability tools) and secure integration with applications
• Design and implement a platform PKI and observability dashboards using native cloud tools while ensuring high availability with DRs and backup plans




• Stay current with cloud tech and DevOps practices and recommend continuous improvements
• Mentor and coach DevOps and Cloud Engineers on automation and cloud standards
• Foster reuse, scalable design, and a Platform Engineering mindset
Responsabilidades
• Post graduate degree in STEM field with 5 years' experience as DevOps or Data Engineer
• 5+ years hands-on DevOps experience with major public clouds (GCP) including Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer
• 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Google Cloud Professional certifications (Architect, Data Engineer, or DevOps) a plus
• Demonstrable Terraform IaC experience for cloud automation
• Experience managing large cloud solutions (GCP/AWS/Azure) xqbhyrx
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with large-scale monitoring (Google Cloud Monitoring, Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Proficient in Python and scripting (e.g., Bash)
• Knowledge of data mesh and lake-house architecture; agile product team experience
• Experience with pipelines using Azure Dev, GitLab, or GitHub suites
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and sponsors
• Experience with data platform products and big data technologies like Spark (a plus)
