In this Global Safety Head role, you drive the safety strategy for oncology assets across their lifecycles, aligning with TA and asset goals. You lead safety input into product profiles, development plans, and regulatory interactions, while building and mentoring a global safety team. You influence governance forums and cross-functional partners to safeguard patient safety and product value. This position offers scope to shape safety strategy at portfolio level and deliver impact across integral teams.

• Set safety goals aligned to asset strategy and lead project-specific safety strategy
• Co-lead the overall asset strategy and ensure safety compliance across activities
• Line manage and develop the Integral Safety Program Leaders and safety physicians/scientists
• Represent safety in governance forums (DRC, eCRC, SARB, FSIRB, DSMB/DMC, MARC) and cross-functional product teams
• Lead scientific/clinical safety strategies for TPP, TPC, CDP, and core labeling under Global Product Leader
• Ensure resourcing, capabilities, and SHE/GxP compliance for safety deliverables




• Act as SIRC Chair as delegated; provide strategic input for in-licensing safety
• Drive safety input for risk/benefit assessment and regulatory interactions
• Engage with KEEs and external experts; build networks across global safety
• Provide portfolio-wide safety strategy coherence and safe decision-making in a matrix environment
Responsabilidades
• Medical degree or equivalent degree in biomedicine or science
• Minimum 8 years of relevant clinical, safety and risk management experience in pharma/biotech/CRO/academic/health authorities
• Direct experience with general regulatory xqbhyrx filing and interactions (FDA advisory committees, Scientific Advice)
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation and GxP
• Strong track record in clinical safety delivery and portfolio influence
• Ability to navigate and influence in a cross-functional matrix
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication, time-management, and project-management abilities
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Knowledge of US and EU safety regulations pre- and post-marketing
