This exciting role as a Software Implementation consultant in our Configuration group will work as part of a team to support and configure our Wire and Cable software for our customers.
UI based configuration elements of the Implementation
More technical elements of the Implementation which will require knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and authoring of data collection forms using XML
Supporting our customers and relationship building
This hybrid role can be based from any of our offices in Barcelona (Spain), Frankfurt (Germany), or Saclay (France) , offering the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across an international environment.
We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent English skills, combined with fluency in either French or German . Consultancy and Configuration

Work with technical teams to resolve system and configuration issues
Attend customer meetings and calls as and when required in support of larger implementation project, ensuring a professional image at all times
Provide status updates,



highlight risks and issues to supervisor (within the project and/or people manager)
Techincal Configuration

~ Build and maintain custom forms using XML/SQL build scripts

Minimum commercial experience of 2 years. Experience in software implementation and / or support, a plus.
Strong academic background in a relevant discipline e.g. computer science, engineering, sustainability or equivalent also a plus.
Strong communication skills in English are essential, together with fluency in either French or German to support collaboration across the EMEA region.
Strong working knowledge of Excel required
Familiarity with web-based applications
Ability to learn new software applications rapidly
Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills as this is a customer-facing role
Previous experience working in teams for project delivery, a plus
Techincal Configuration

Experience with relational databases and use of SQL
Working knowledge of XML is idóneo
