Reporting into the European CFO with a partner relationship with the European Sales VP, you will create and roll out a new commercial finance agenda across Europe, creating a high-performing function that partners closely with Sales, Key Account Management and Marketing to improve commercial decision-making, profitability and sustainable growth. You will recruit, develop and lead a team of approximately 5 commercial finance professionals while embedding a culture of business partnering across multiple European markets. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build an European Commercial Finance function. - Build closer relationships between commercial finance and sales, gain new insight into Sales pain points and performance drivers, seek to create analysis to enable Sales organisation value creation - Provide commercial and financial insight into Margin, Volume/Price Mix, Channel & Customer Profitability / Product Mix / Contribution Margin / Financial Dashboard - Initiate and deliver product margin improvement and growth initiatives including portfolio optimisation, pricing strategy and customer investment decisions. - Drive consistent commercial reporting and performance analysis across the region. - Challenge commercial decisions through robust financial analysis and business partnering. Seek to implement a process allowing new contract review and sign-off. - Develop commercial planning,



forecasting and decision-support capabilities. - Build and develop a high-performing team of approximately 5 professionals. - Support commercial / sales organisation with data and recommendations for customer negotiations - Influence decision-making on sales incentive plans; seek to collaborate with sales leadership to design a new incentive structure to rewards preferred commercial team behaviours. You will be an experienced commercial finance and FP&A; leader with approximately 10–15 years' finance experience combining FP&A;, commercial finance and supply finance, gained within a complex international manufacturing company. You will have: - Significant Commercial Finance or Business Finance leadership experience at a regional or general level. - A proven track record of partnering with Sales and Commercial teams. - Experience building or transforming commercial finance capability. - Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. - Experience hiring, leading and developing high-performing teams. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; highly collaborate, highly resilient and highly proactive - Capable of bringing ideas of best-in-class commercial finance procedures to be scaled and pragmatically implemented at MCC. - Experience of introducing automation and AI solutions to enable focus on relationship and valuer-creation. xqysrnh This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys creating from zero and leaving their mark on an international organisation.
