About the Role

NISH Tech BV is looking for a Banking Domain Architect to support architecture initiatives within a leading European financial institution.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring that domain solutions are coherent, sustainable and aligned with enterprise strategy and architectural standards. The role involves designing functional, application and data architectures, supporting reusable APIs and data products, and leveraging cloud capabilities.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and architecture communities to define target architectures, guide implementation and support digital transformation initiatives in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and validate architecture solutions.
- Capture business needs and translate them into functional solutions.
- Design solution architectures aligned with enterprise strategy and standards.
- Define and maintain reference architectures, patterns and blueprints.
- Design reusable APIs, events and data products.
- Apply enterprise data modelling expertise.
- Support cloud-based architecture and capabilities.
- Advise on architecture studies, projects and technology evolution.
- Support implementation of architectural decisions and standards.
- Participate in architecture committees and governance activities.
- Communicate current and target architectures,



principles and best practices.
- Produce application diagrams, system maps and service interfaces.
- Monitor business and technology evolution and incorporate relevant developments.
- Contribute to Agile and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of functional, technical, application and data architecture.
- Knowledge of architectural urbanization rules.
- Experience with data modelling.
- Experience with API design.
- Experience analysing and defining application architectures.
- Practical Scrum experience.
- Knowledge of project management.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with enterprise modelling languages such as ArchiMate.
- Cloud architecture experience.
- Customer/Party Domain experience.
- AML domain experience.

Languages

- English: Fluent
- Dutch or French: Fluent in either language, with notions of the other language
