? Key responsibilities
• Develop target data architectures and architecture guidelines
• Shape and implement data strategy and data architecture
• Translate conceptual information models into logical data models
• Guide data exchange and legacy-to-modern integration initiatives
• Define and govern API & integration architectures
• Support data governance, interoperability, security and compliance
• Prepare architecture documentation, ADRs and impact analyses
• Advise project/product teams on architectural and technical decisions
• Ensure alignment between data, cloud, applications, security and AI architecture
?️ Key requirements
✅ 8+ years of Data Architecture experience
✅ Experience with complex enterprise or government data architectures
✅ Data strategy, data models, data standards & Data Management
✅ 5+ years of API & Integration Architecture
✅ REST/SOAP, API governance and modern integration patterns
✅ Azure/AWS, hybrid cloud, IaC and GitOps principles
✅ Data governance, metadata management and data quality
✅ GDPR, DPIA, risk analysis and security-by-design
• Experience with Flemish Government or Digitaal Vlaanderen data products
