HAYS IT is assisting one of their clients, active in the automotive industry, in their search for a freelance Project Manager. They are located in Gent.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Finance Portfolio team within ISD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse portfolio of finance-related projects, ranging from business process improvements and finance transformation initiatives to ERP implementation, regulatory, reporting, and digitalization projects.

This role requires a strong project management professional who combines proven delivery expertise with a solid understanding of finance processes and business operations. The Project Manager will work closely with Finance leadership, business stakeholders, solution architects, external partners, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution from initiation through deployment and business adoption.

In addition to managing multiple concurrent projects,



the role includes responsibility for test management,cutover planning, business readiness, deployment coordination, and go-live governance of larger projects where required.

The idóneo candidate has:

- Minimum 8 years of project management experience delivering complex business and IT projects.
- Proven experience managing Finance-related projects and transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Finance processes
- Experience within SAP ERP environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA programmes.
- Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Dutch and/or French is plus.
