About the project

You will join a technology team working in a data-intensive environment with access to a Data Lake. The project combines object-oriented application development, database integration, SQL querying, and modern delivery practices.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute to solutions supporting Transactional Regulatory Reporting, working across application, data, and infrastructure components in a complex financial environment.

What you will do

- Design, develop, and maintain object-oriented applications using Java and JavaScript.
- Access and work with data stored in a Data Lake.
- Create, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries across different database technologies.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Oracle, PostgreSQL,



and other relational databases.
- Work with PL/SQL procedures, packages, and database objects where required.
- Participate in CI/CD processes using Git, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and related tools.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of microservices, particularly with Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with developers, data specialists, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Investigate production or integration issues and propose sustainable technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain technical and functional documentation in Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute ideas that improve system reliability, delivery efficiency, and solution quality.
