An international consumer goods company with a growing presence across Europe is looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of an Accountant in Barcelona.

Backed by a well-established international group, the company offers a collaborative environment, close interaction with management, and the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes.

Your New Role

As Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the Spanish entity.

Your main responsibilities will include bookkeeping, month-end close, VAT and statutory filings, accounts payable and receivable management, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data within the ERP system.

You will also support audits, reporting requirements, and collaborate closely with both local management and the international finance team What You'll Need to Succeed Degree in Accounting, Compañía Administration, Finance,



or a related field.3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience within a Spanish company or accounting firm.

Demonstrated experience preparing and submitting Spanish tax filings, including VAT returns (Modelos 303, 349, 390), withholding returns, and annual declarations.

Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC) and VAT working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.

Advanced Excel skills

Fluent Spanish and a good working level of English.A proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven professional who takes ownership of tasks and consistently meets deadlines.
