Role Description The Building Maintenance Worker is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Valencia Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for performing routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep of building interiors, exteriors, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe and functional environment.

Day-to-day tasks include handling minor carpentry and plumbing repairs, maintaining equipment and tools, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with basic electrical or HVAC tasks as needed.

The Building Maintenance

Worker will respond to maintenance requests, coordinate with vendors when necessary, follow safety procedures,



and keep detailed records of work performed. The role may also involve supporting facility improvements, setting up spaces for classes or events, and ensuring compliance with organizational maintenance standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance on building systems and facilities.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Basic carpentry skills for repairing doors, walls, furniture, and fixtures.
- Foundational plumbing skills for addressing leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, including PPE use and hazard reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing maintenance issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with staff, vendors, and supervisors.
- Previous experience in building or facility maintenance is highly beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance trades is a plus.
