Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: United States – Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and financial operations. This executive role will provide financial leadership and business insight to support sound decision-making, sustainable growth, and strong operational performance.

The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and executive leadership. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with practical business judgment and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy

Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives, operating plans, and long-term priorities.

Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. Provide senior leadership with clear insights into financial trends, business performance, and future opportunities.

Financial Reporting

Oversee accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Ensure financial information is clear, reliable, and useful for business decision-making.

Accounting Oversight

Provide executive oversight of accounting operations, financial processes, reporting practices, and internal financial procedures.

Cash Flow Management

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial resources. Establish effective planning practices that support operational requirements and long-term financial stability.

Business Performance

Develop financial metrics and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and overall business performance.

Budget Management

Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial planning.



Partner with department leaders to establish appropriate budgets and monitor performance against financial objectives.

Strategic Decision Support

Work closely with executive leadership to evaluate investments, operating plans, growth initiatives, and strategic opportunities from a financial perspective.

Financial Controls

Develop and maintain effective financial controls, policies, procedures, and reporting standards to support accuracy and operational consistency.

Risk Management

Identify financial and operational risks and recommend practical strategies to support responsible financial management and business continuity.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance organization. Establish clear objectives, strengthen team capabilities, and promote efficient financial operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with operations, sales, marketing, product, human resources, and other departments to incorporate financial insights into business planning and decision-making.

Executive Reporting

Present financial performance, forecasts, business analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications

Executive Finance Experience

Extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, financial planning, or related functions, including significant leadership responsibility.

Financial Expertise

Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and corporate finance.

Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations and connect financial performance with broader organizational objectives.

Analytical & Decision-Making Skills

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate financial information, identify trends, assess opportunities, and support sound business decisions.

Leadership & Communication

Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.

Operational Excellence

Experience improving financial processes, reporting systems, controls, and operating practices to increase efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.

Business Acumen

Strong understanding of how financial performance, operational activity, customer trends, and market conditions influence overall business results.

Remote Leadership

Experience leading distributed teams and collaborating effectively across a remote organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience serving as a CFO, Vice President of Finance, Finance Director, or comparable senior financial leader.

Experience supporting a growing organization through financial planning and operational development.

Strong background in FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.

Experience with ERP systems, financial planning platforms, business intelligence tools, and financial reporting technologies.

Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning and business decisions.
