About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Security Specialist to join the Cybersecurity team, playing a key role in the operation, continuous improvement, and strengthening of the company’s security posture.
This position is aimed at professionals with strong technical expertise in cybersecurity environments, capable of acting as a technical reference point within the team, maximizing the use of internal capabilities through key security tools and ensuring their proper operation in production environments in a consistent, efficient, and risk-aligned manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical subject matter expert within their area of responsibility, providing judgment and expertise in operational decision-making.
- Play a key role in the day-to-day operation of cybersecurity capabilities, ensuring their effective execution and stability.
- Maximize the value of existing security platforms and tools, ensuring proper configuration, usage,
and continuous evolution.
- Ensure that security controls operate in an effective, consistent, and risk-aligned manner, proposing improvements whenever necessary.
- Collaborate across technical teams (Infrastructure, Networks, Identity, SOC, etc.) to ensure coordinated operations.
- Analyze and actively participate in the management of security alerts, incidents, and deviations related to their area of responsibility.
- Maintain and improve operational procedures, playbooks, and technical best practices.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, optimization, hardening, and automation.
- Track operational metrics, service levels, and technical risks, escalating issues that require attention or strategic decision-making.
About You
Required Technical Knowledge
- Strong experience in network and perimeter security , including:
- Web application and API protection
- Network and application-layer attack mitigation
- Control, inspection, and governance of inbound and outbound traffic
- Practical knowledge of Secure Access and Zero Trust models , including:
- Identity-based remote access
- Integration with authentication and access control services
- Governance of access to corporate applications and resources
- Experience with Trust Infrastructure and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) , including:
- Digital certificate management
- Certificate Authorities (CAs)
- Key and certificate lifecycle management
- Ability to integrate these capabilities into monitoring, detection, and response ecosystems commonly used by cybersecurity teams.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) platforms.
- Practical knowledge of email security , phishing prevention, and fraud protection.
- Familiarity with incident response processes , orchestration, and operational workflow improvement.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in technical roles within cybersecurity teams.
- Proven track record in the operation and technical management of security controls and platforms in production environments .
- Experience working in complex corporate environments with multiple technical stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to independently assume and sustain technical responsibilities over time.
