Experteer Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in Barcelona, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of software for manufacturing software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to elevate best practices. You will address technical debt, performance, and production issues, with a focus on delivering modular, testable, and maintainable solutions. This role offers impact across European production facilities and opportunities to shape development processes and tech strategy.

• Lead and participate in design, development, and implementation of MFG SW software solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements, architecture, and priorities
• Write clean, efficient code in multiple languages
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks
• Improve development processes and tooling
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies




• Troubleshoot and debug production issues (European factories)
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and QA principles

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience designing modular, maintainable architectures with testability
• Strong OO design, design patterns, SOLID principles, clean coding
• Proficiency in C#, Python, or similar
• Experience in desktop app development (WPF, MVVM)
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated leadership and ownership of projects
• Experience integrating manufacturing software with cloud data/IoT is a plus
• familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD is a plus
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing systems is highly desirable
