Intelligent Industry Overview:
We are rapidly expanding our Intelligent Industry capability in Spain, supporting major engineering, telecommunications, aerospace and infrastructure transformation programs across general markets.
As part of our Digital Engineering team, you will work on highly complex programs involving strategic suppliers, large-scale contracts and critical infrastructure deployments.
Role Overview:
We are looking for experienced Procurement and Contract Management professionals with strong expertise in supplier governance, contract administration and large-scale engineering or telecommunications programs.
The successful candidate will act as the key reference point for supplier contract management within a major transformation program, ensuring contractual compliance, supplier performance monitoring and effective coordination across procurement, legal, technical and program management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a consolidated view of supplier contracts, contractual commitments, deliverables, acceptance criteria and contractual milestones.
- Translate supplier contractual obligations into a contract milestone plan aligned with the overall program schedule.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual commitments and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate supplier follow-up activities related to delays, non-compliance, incomplete deliverables and contractual issues.
- Maintain supplier risk, issue,
claim and action logs.
- Assess contractual implications of supplier delays, changes, claims, penalties and remedies.
- Coordinate contractual escalations with procurement, legal, technical and program management stakeholders.
- Verify compliance with contractual requirements before supplier payment milestones are approved.
- Validate payment eligibility, contractual payment dates, guarantees, retentions and potential penalties.
- Prepare supplier governance forums, executive reporting, decision-making materials and corrective action follow-up.
Requirements:
- 8-15 years of professional experience in Procurement, Contract Management, Commercial Management, PMO or Program Management.
- Proven experience managing major supplier contracts within telecommunications, aerospace, satellite, defence or infrastructure programs.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, supplier governance and commercial risk management.
- Experience handling claims, contract changes, contractual compliance and performance monitoring.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across procurement, legal, engineering and program management functions.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- English C1 level or higher.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Law or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience with telecommunications operators or satellite infrastructure providers.
- Experience in aerospace, space, defence or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of FIDIC, NEC or other major contract management frameworks.
- Experience working within international multi-supplier programs.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa or similar procurement platforms.
