Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Site Operations Manager to lead a small industrial dismantling and processing facility at the Port of Cádiz. This role requires a practical, self-sufficient professional who can independently manage daily operations while actively supporting on-site activities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and operate the facility with a strong hands-on approach

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and continuity

Resolve operational challenges independently and proactively

Take full ownership of site activities, including administration, coordination with service providers, workforce supervision, and contractor management

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, including proper material tracking and reporting

Manage all on-site administrative tasks not covered by headquarters or external providers

Build and maintain relationships with customers (buyers of materials such as copper, steel, and plastics), suppliers, service providers, and local authorities including the Port Authority and Zona Franca Cádiz

Profile & Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial operations, ideally in recycling or processing plants





Strong hands-on mindset with the ability to step into operational tasks when required

Proven ability to run a facility autonomously within a lean team environment

Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of ownership and accountability

Basic knowledge of business management, accounting, HR, and environmental/regulatory requirements

Education

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Strong practical experience will be considered as an alternative

Languages

Spanish: Fluent (written and spoken)

English: Fluent (written and spoken)
