We are looking for or a

Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

to support

Supplier Quality Management activities within an automotive project, providing both on-site and remote support to an international team.

Responsibilities

- Manage and develop suppliers, monitoring their performance and improvement plans.

- Coordinate

APQP projects and

PPAP validation processes, particularly during industrialization and launch phases.

- Conduct process and system audits at suppliers, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities.

- Manage quality issues, following up on

8D corrective actions and escalations for critical suppliers.

- Coordinate quality activities with

Procurement, Engineering, Production and suppliers

, both nationally and internationally.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a

Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

within the automotive industry.

- Strong knowledge of

APQP,



PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and IATF 16949

.

- Experience in supplier audits and industrialization and project launch processes.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple suppliers and follow up on action plans.

- High level of and Spanish and

English and willingness to travel and visit suppliers when required.
