This position will be based in the recently created branch of Health International in Spain and can be based in Madrid or Barcelona.

In July 2023, AXA Health was created, a business unit dedicated to Health & EB; leading the international Health business, working closely with local entities to oversee their strategy and activities, and providing a vehicle to underwrite new and different types of business, in order to fulfil our growth ambition. AXA Health covers c.€20bn of GWP (including international businesses as well as domestic businesses operated by AXA local entities).

Reporting to the Tax Manager, within a team of 3 people, you will contribute to the preparation of tax returns for an insurance company,



a reinsurance company and an MGA, all located in France.

Main duties

1.Preparation of tax returns

- Prepare and file taxes based on the value added (CVAE and C3S);
- Prepare and file policyholder tax returns (TCA & TSA);
- Prepare and file VAT returns;
- Process related payments and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines;

2.Monitoring and compliance
- Ensure ongoing tax monitoring;
- Contribute to improving, aligning and updating processes;

3.Transversal support;
- Collaborate with accounting, IT and business teams from various Group entities;
- Help formalise and optimise internal procedures;
- Participate in internal projects: IT, business, etc.

Required skills:

Technical skills

- Knowledge of general accounting;
- Curiosity about French taxation
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools;
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Language skills

- Professional level of English (written and spoken);
- French is a plus.

Personal qualities

- Curiosity and rigour;
- Ability to respect deadlines;
- Team spirit.

Desired profile

- Master’s degree in Accounting;
- Experience in accounting in the financial sector.
