In this role you help secure Deel’s cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, embedding security into product delivery at scale. You will partner with development, operations, and security to automate vulnerability detection, enforce secure configurations, and monitor for threats across a integral, fast-growing platform. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Develop and maintain automated security tools and processes to identify vulnerabilities, analyze code, monitor systems, and conduct security testing, integrating scanners and SCA/IA tools into CI/CD.
• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, network architecture, and deployment processes with proper access controls and encryption.
• Set up continuous security monitoring, including log analysis, intrusion detection, and system health checks.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between development, operations, and security to embed security requirements into the development lifecycle.




• Support compliance assessments and audits, providing evidence of security controls and coordinating with auditors.

Responsabilidades
• 3+ years in Security, SecOps, or DevSecOps roles
• Hands-on experience with policy-as-code and IaC security scanning tools (Checkov, tfsec, Terrascan)
• Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python; version control and CI/CD experience
• Experience tuning WAF/firewall configurations (e.g., Cloudflare)
• Knowledge of security fundamentals (OWASP Top 10, encryption, authentication, access control, secure coding)
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management, and monitoring/observability
• Ability to assess risk, apply security controls, perform threat modeling, and incident response planning
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and security-focused automation
• Security certifications are advantageous
