The Process Improvement Engineer will be based in Madrid, European Headquarters, and will be part of the Competitive Edge Europe Department, directly reporting to the Competitive Edge Director. The Process Improvement Engineer willaccelerate the deployment of proven engineering and operational excellenceinitiatives across Nippon Sanso Europe. The role focuses on identifyingsuccessful projects implemented in ASUs, PAG plants, cylinder operations,filling stations, logistics, maintenance, energy efficiency, reliability, andproduction processes, and ensuring their effective replication across multiplesites and regions. As part of the Competitive Edge team, this positionwill act as the bridge between European Value Stream Owners, Operations teams, Engineering, and regional leadership to maximize productivity improvements anddeliver sustainable savings. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role include: Identifyhigh-value engineering and operational initiatives suitable forreplication across Europe. Developreplication roadmaps for ASUs, PAG plants, production sites, logisticsoperations, and technical services. Workdirectly with plant managers, operations teams, maintenance managers, andengineering departments to deploy proven solutions. Supportthe implementation of: Energyoptimization projects Reliabilityimprovement initiatives Predictiveand preventive maintenance programs Processoptimization projects Capacityand yield improvements Assetperformance enhancement initiatives Technicalcost reduction programs Evaluatetechnical feasibility and scalability of projects before Europeandeployment. Standardizebest practices, technical methodologies, and implementation approaches. Trackproject execution, savings delivery, and operational performance. Facilitatecross-regional knowledge transfer and technical workshops. Support European Value Stream Owners in achieving the company's replicationobjectives. Job requirements Background: Degreein Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar. Aprox.8 years of experience in industrial operations, engineering, continuousimprovement, or plant management. Experienceleading engineering improvement projects with measurable savings.
