As Senior ICT Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining PL/1 applications that support the Allianz Business Systems functions. This role involves system maintenance, collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, efficient and reliable software solutions.
Design, develop, test and debug PL/1 applications to meet organizational requirements and align with industry standards.
Monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot existing PL/1 applications to improve performance and functionality.
Conduct comprehensive code reviews and testing to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
Create, update, and manage detailed technical documentation for PL/1 applications to support ongoing system maintenance and knowledge sharing.




Proven experience as a PL/1 Developer or a similar role in software development. Proficient in PL/1 programming language with hands-on experience in application development.
Expertise in working within Linux environments with microfocus and associated technologies as well as familiarity with database management systems such as DB2.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Practical knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
