Job Description:
An opportunity for a
*Fuel and Fire Protection Systems Engineer
* has arisen within
*Airbus Defence and Space,
* Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the
*Fuel, Inerting and Fire Protection Systems Department
*.
You will be part of a team developing Cabin and non-pressurized Fire Protection Systems.
As part of Fuel and Air-to-Air Refuelling, you will be involved in activities aiming to develop Fire Protection Systems for Mission Platforms.
*RESPONSIBILITIES
*Manage
* equipment specification and lead supplier follow-up.
* *Support
* System Verification & Validation (V&V;), Certification / Qualification processes, and drafting Means of Compliance (MoCs).
* *Provide
* on-site support to activities in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) / secondment.
* *Coordinate
* system management activities in front of Integrators, Chief Engineers (CEs), and Programme stakeholders.

* *Education:
* Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
* *Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
* *Soft skills:
* High adaptability to work on new topics and collaborative capability in dynamic environments.
* *Languages:
* Advanced level in English & Spanish (both written & spoken).
* *Technical knowledge:
* Technical expertise in fluid and mechanical aircraft systems, along with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development.
