We are looking for a Hardware Engineer who is highly motivated to work with a talented and diverse engineering team to address hardware design and system integration with software and testing to deliver end customer products. As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be an integral member of the Hardware Engineering team designing custom boards from scratch. being used in high‐performance and critical applications within scientific facilities such as particle accelerators.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is able to work proactively and closely with other cross‐functional engineering groups such as industrial design, product design, production test, FPGA and software engineering.
Work with a friendly and positive team to design new high‐performance electronic equipment (schematic capture and PCB layout) and sustain/support existing products.
Test prototype designs to guarantee they meet requirements, identifying potential issues before they reach production.
Collaborate with Software, FPGA, and Mechanical Engineers to ensure the hardware works for its intended purpose.
Provide technical support to the Production team and ensure compliance to time frame, quality and cost targets.
Collaborate with contract manufacturer partners to ensure timely supply of systems and devices in accordance with the specifications.
